About the Role: Be part of something groundbreaking! Our young, dynamic team is building
a brand-new product from the ground up, and we’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to
play a pivotal role in shaping its architecture and performance. This is a permanent role reporting
directly to the Lead Architect.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Python.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Architect to design a high-performance, future-proof
backend infrastructure.
• Build secure, resilient, and highly available backend applications using serverless and
microservices architectures.
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth API integration.
• Make key architectural decisions and promote best coding practices in a fast-paced
environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and scalable system design.
• Proficiency in relational databases.
• Knowledge of authentication, security best practices, and performance tuning.
• Experience in the AWS ecosystem and Certification is a plus
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven programming.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and containerization.
• Good to have: Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in prompt engineering and API integration with LLMs (Large Language Models)
will be a strong advantage.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for oil and gas projects, including power distribution systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Prepare detailed electrical engineering drawings, specifications, equipment sizing, electrical distribution diagrams and technical documents.
• Conduct electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies to ensure optimal system performance.
• Perform design calculations for earthing, lightning protection, lighting, relay settings etc.
• Select and specify electrical equipment and components, considering project requirements, safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical and process systems.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate / Post graduate in Electrical Engineering
3-6 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
