Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) – Gujarat Refinery has proposed to lay pipelines for transfer of hydro carbons from Refinery to Dumad Terminal.
The products transferred from IOCL Gujarat Refinery to Dumad Terminal are:
• High Molecular Weight Linear Alkyl Benzene (HMW LAB) in 6” pipe
• Low Molecular Weight Linear Alkyl Benzene (LMW LAB) in 10” pipe
• Pipeline Compatible Kerosene (PCK) in 12” pipe
• Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) in 12” pipe
The objective of QRA is to quantify the risks to rank them accordingly based on their severity and probability and to understand the significance of existing control measures and to follow the risk control measures to bring down the risk levels and to identify the consequence of various hazards based on the hazard type to personnel at a range of distances.
