Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) For Marine Infrastructure Developer Private Limited – Kattupalli Port

Marine Infrastructure Developer Pvt. Ltd. is going to execute 2 Enclosures, Enclosure 1 (5000KL x 12 tanks) and Enclosure 3 (5000KL x 4 Tanks). Marine Infrastructure Developer Pvt. Ltd has awarded iFluids Engineering to carry out Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) study for the 2 enclosures at Kattupalli Port.

MIDPL wants to execute 2 Enclosures, Enclosure 1 (5000KL x 12 tanks) and Enclosure 3 (5000KL x 4 Tanks).

Taking PESO CTE for the above enclosures with cargo class as per following table.

To carry out Quantitative Risk Assessment i.e. QRA Study based on Guidelines for Quantitative Risk Assessment CPR 18 E (Purple book), Committee for the Prevention of Disasters, Netherlands (Edition: PGS 3, 2005) for the 2 enclosures,

  • Enclosure 1 with the capacity of 5000 KL x 12 Tanks containing Class C Cargo (CBFS).
  • Enclosure 3 with the capacity of 5000 KL x 4 Tanks containing Bitumen (Excluded petroleum).
