Saipem India Projects Private limited (SIP) is a branch of Saipem which is a multinational EPC company operating in the oil and gas sector. SIP operates from the registered office at Chennai.
The Yarlagadda building is a four storied building at Nungambakkam. It has a Workstation with computers, Air Handling Units, Server rooms. Water is from metro and tankers and sewage connected to metro. The building has Firefighting system with Fire pumps, hose reels, hydrant and portable fire extinguishers, FM 2000 for server room. Since a wide range and number of environmental, health and safety legislations are applicable to the activities performed by SIP, It was decided to have a HSE Legal Compliance Audit by reputed third party Service Provider having expertise in the field of Indian and local legislations relevant to environmental, health and safety in identifying various environmental, health and safety legislations applicable to SIP and confirming compliance of such requirements. iFluids performed the audit to identify the gaps against applicable HSE legal requirements to SIP office and to assess the effectiveness of existing HSE legal compliances and highlight the requirements for improvements in compliances where gaps are found.
The objective of the HSE Legal Compliance Audit is to verify the status of compliance of all the statutory requirements applicable to Saipem Office Building at Nungambakkam and activities carried out therein.
