Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Drum Plant has an existing drum manufacturing facility at Chennai.
FACILITIES INVOLVED
The facilities involved in IOCL Drum plant are as follows:
- Lube Barrels production unit
- The main equipment used in the unit operation are Flanger, Bead expander, Corrugator, Triple seamer and oven
- Bitumen drum production unit
- The equipment involved in the unit operation are Flanger, Double seamer, Drier and corrugator.
The objective of the HAZOP (Hazard & Operability) study is to aid in managing project risk through early identification of hazards and operability problems and to reduce the probability and consequences of an incident that would have a detrimental impact to the personnel, plant, properties and environment.
