HAZard & OPerability (HAZOP) Study For Shell Catalyst For Improved Polyols (Scippy) Batch Process At Singapore, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, SHELL

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Ltd.  has awarded iFluids Engineering to carry out Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study for Shell Catalyst for Improved Polyols (SCIPPY) Batch Process at Singapore. Shell has an installation for SCIPPY Batch process for polyol production in EOD2 unit at EGS, Singapore. The document identifies the methodology and results proposed by iFluids Engineering and accepted by L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, Shell for the completion of the HAZOP study.

The objective of the HAZOP (Hazard & Operability) study is to aid in managing project risk through early identification of hazards and operability problems and to reduce the probability and consequences of an incident that would have a detrimental impact to the personnel, plant, properties and environment.
