External Safety Audit As Per OISD Standard

Joint Venture company of IOCL & Skytanking Holding GmbH, Germany is in the business of handling Jet Fuel for Airlines on behalf of the suppliers at five civil & two defence bases airports including three metro airports, and are currently India’s leading private company in the field of Operations and Maintenance of Fuel Farm and into plane services.

The objective of the safety audit was to verify compliance with established standards regulations, internal policies and industry wise standards of practice and improve further augmenting the existing safety systems, potential safety and fire hazards not covered by the existing infrastructure, systems, procedures & practices, carry out a fresh appraisal of all potential hazards involving personnel, equipment, services and operation methods,  Identify plant condition or operating procedures that could lead to an accident and significant losses to life or property, Identify deviation from designed and planned operating and maintenance procedure and standards.

The scope of audit includes Safety policy, Organization set up, Education and Training, Compliances with OISD Standards and statutory requirements, Accident reporting and analysis, Management review and commitment to Safety, Use of SOPs, Fire protection & prevention and Fire Fighting Systems, Electrical Safety and personal safeguarding, Waste disposal, Work Permit System Emergency Planning and preparedness (Offsite and On site) etc.

Information were collected through Pre Audit Data sheet, during site visit documents was reviewed at client premises and random discussions / interviews was held at various levels of staff / workers. After the site visit findings and observations were discussed with client during closeout. Draft audit report was prepared and submitted to client and after clients comment final report was prepared.
