Brief Description of Job:
Comprehensive Risk Analysis (CRA) (in other words Quantitative Risk Assessment {QRA}) study main objective is to identify the type of hazard which could be realized & failure scenarios that could occur within the facilities for detailed calculation and modeling. It is a structured and systematic examination of a planned or existing process or operation in order to identify and evaluate problems that may represent risks to personnel or equipment. The study shall cover the prevailing MoE&F requirement, and other guidelines/standards like OISD, PNGRB (as applicable).
Facilities Covered:
As a part of scope, we covered the existing facilities at Gujarat Refinery include 33 Process units (Including RUP) with 282 storage tanks of size varying from 200 KL to 65000 KL.
Off-Site Facilities:
- Storage tanks for crude oil, intermediates, finished products and handling facilities.
- LPG storage and dispatch facilities.
- Hydrogen bullets storage facilities.
- Effluent Treatment Plant.
Other Facilities:
- Water system
- Steam system
- Air / Inert Gas system
- Fuel System
- Power Generation System – Captive Power Plants
- Power Plant for CGP-I
- Power Plant for CGP-II
Schedule:
As per the contract the project schedule is 06 (six) months. With fabulous support of IOCL E-I-C and team we delivered the project within 05 (five) months.
